[Influencenews I Hyeseon LEE, Correspondent] While the world is struggling with the spread of COVID-19, analysts say Europe and the U.S. have passed their peak following China and South Korea.

Sadly, few expect the post-Corona era to be the same as before the Korona outbreak.

Andrew Cuomo, the U.S. governor of New York, said on the 8th, "I don't think we can go back to normal. I don't think I can go back to the pre-Corona era," he said.

He said, "If we are smart, we can instead implement 'New Normal' (a new standard emerging as the time change)."

Prime minister Chung Sye-Kyun made similar remarks. Chung said on Wednesday that he may not be able to return for a considerable period of time, possibly forever, in his previous daily life.

He said, "We need to prevent living with a certain amount of economic activity and continuing to distance ourselves from society to the intensity necessary to lower the risk of spreading the Korona," and stressed, "The life-defense system does not mean a return to life before Corona 19."

Harari, an Israeli futurist and historian who wrote "Sapiens" and "Homodeus," also had similar expectations.

"The crisis in Corona is likely to be an extremely important event," told French magazine Le For One and U.S. public radio broadcaster NPR.

"Old rules are shattered, and new rules are still being written," he said. "For the next month or two governments and international organizations will conduct large-scale social experiments under actual conditions. And that will determine the shape of the world for decades to come," he said.

Generalization of Online Lectures

Harari predicted that Internet-based remote lectures will become common around the world in the future.

He said, "I'm a professor at Hebrew University in Israel, where there's been a lot of talk about using the Internet instead of big classroom lectures for years." he said.

The first-ever online school opening in Korea is also taking place. On the 16th, the second online opening will take place, and about 4 million elementary, middle, and high school students will take remote classes at once, except for first to third graders.

The world is likely to be similar because of the case in Singapore. The number of people has been infected due to opening school rashly.

Singapore has been called a model country for quarantine due to the low number of confirmed cases, is suddenly flooded with confirmed cases because of the start of school.

The spread of online lectures could accelerate the fall of Korean universities.

It is expected to create an environment in which famous foreign universities can easily take lectures at home.

Minimum Income Guarantee

Harari explained that countries around the world have come to realize how important "basic income guarantees" through the Corona crisis.

For years, some experts have been considering "basic income guarantees," but all politicians on Earth have refused such ideas because they think they are unrealistic, he said.

However, with the spread of the Korona crisis, even the current extreme conservative administrative agencies in the United States have decided to pay a basic income to individual citizens throughout the crisis, he said.

Some countries have announced that they will implement a one-time or continuous policy of providing subsidies as part of measures to deal with the Corona 19 crisis.

Spain's Economy Minister Nadia Calvino said on the 5th that it plans to implement a basic income policy as early as possible. The main goal of Spain is to pay 440 euros (about 520,000 won) per month for the vulnerable. Spain has a monthly minimum wage of 9950 (about 1.27 million won).

In the U.S., as part of the $2.2 trillion Korona stimulus package, the U.S. will pay 1,200 U.S. dollars in cash per person.

There is No Excellent Europe, No America

Western supremacy has been prevalent in Korea. Some satirized Korea's excellence, saying, "It is funny to see Korea trying to be recognized by the West."

A series of "Do you know" Kimchi and "Psy" by foreign celebrities have drawn criticism for revealing Koreans' four-pronged Famous entertainment programs such as "Begin Again," "Youn's Kitchen," "Welcome to Korea," and "It's the first time in Korea," were criticized for trying to show Westerners an excellent Korea.

However, as the Corona crisis swept through the U.S. and Europe, the damage that was incomparably serious to Asia occurred across Western societies. It seems that "global leader America" and "advanced country Europe" are just fantasies.

Unlike Korea, where there was no hoarding, there was a hoarding of toilet paper across the West. Fake news spread that 5G networks spread infection, sparking a fire at a British 5G base station.

In France, critics criticized the prevention of using mobile information, including the disclosure of Korea's infected movements, and mentioned that Korea is a "monitoring and pushing country."

However, such criticism soon faced another one. In France, infections are spreading uncontrollably, while Korea has entered a period of stability.

As a result, Western supremacy will decline in the wake of the Corona crisis.

Also, the international order led by the U.S. and Europe will be reformed.

Daniel Tudor, a former Korea correspondent for the Economist, said in an article in the Dong-A Ilbo that ``Western chauvinism'' is collapsing.

Korea was in contrast to the West, which individualism has locked themselves, he said.
